Veterinary Nutritional Consultations, inc (VNC) was established in 1989 by Dr. Rebecca L Remillard as an independent consulting service for professionals and pet owners seeking nutritional advice.
In 2000, VNC created Pet Diets, the first to provide teleconsulting services in veterinary nutrition directly to owners for their pets and veterinarians for their patients. In 2024, PetDiets.com was sold to PetDiets, LLC.
In 2017, VNC founded Pet Recipe Designers to help entrepreneurs bring their ideas about feeding pets into nutritional compliance for local markets. In 2024, PetRecipeDesigners.com was sold to PetDiets, LLC.
In 2019, VNC established a Think Tank Group to offer information in the form of literature searches, white paper summaries, consensus opinions, and original ideas, independent of industry, state, federal, or university entanglements, for companion animals (Equine, Canine and Feline) and all that may benefit them.
